I spoke to a professor of mine during the school year outside of class and requested an RA position. She asked to see several writing samples. transcripts, along with other documents and I eventually got the position.
Simple behavioral questions. Just contact your favorite professor and ask. Most of the time they need the help. Most of the time it will not be paid, but the experience is worth it.

it was pretty easy overall and just basically like wanted you to do the classic questions that people have to answer. these include the standard "tell me about yourself" and "walk me through your resume
Behavioral interview, one meeting with the team pretty straight forward just asked about my experience and if I had worked in research before and what I’ve done, didn’t take longer than 30 mins
