Applied online. Received a call from recruiter and I described my work experiences. Contacted a few weeks later for a in-person interview with manager. Interview (mid August) with manager was easy going and laid back. He showed me a layout of the facility and asked me what the issue or problem with the layout. I gave my answer after a few minutes of trying to to understand the layout (it was on an 8.5 x 11). At the end he said his director would also like to talk to me. A week or so later, I phone interviewed with Director. Conversation was very good and he wanted to meet me in person, he suggested dinner when he is in town to visit their customer's facility. A few weeks later, received a call from their MI office to set up another interview with hiring manager again but I was I out of town for training that week. That was the last I heard from MI and the recruiter. I called the gentleman from MI who tried to setup the 2nd interview with hiring manager but he directed me to call the recruiter. I emailed and left a voicemail with recruiter, no response (mid Sept). Finally got an email from recruiter asking my schedule for the next few weeks (end of Sept). Responded and gave her my availability for the next 3 weeks. That was the last time I heard from her.
My experience with this company was very poor. I understand they were still in negotiation with their customer and that was explained during the interview but to not give an definitive answer of whether or not I was still a candidate was unprofessional. The job was posted again during this whole process but a lower level.
