I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Ryder System (Tukwila, WA) in March 2018.
Interview
Had my interview in the Tukwila location with the regional manager who did a great job with my interview. The process followed a standard interview process with the typical questions: strengths, weaknesses, overcoming adversity, etc. At the same time was kept it personal and talked about some of his own experiences. Overall it was a good experience.

Interview
Overall it was very friendly and informative. It was pretty informal and focused on getting to know me and what I wanted out of the internship. It took place over the phone because I was in another city.

I applied online. I interviewed at Ryder System (Rancho Dominguez, CA) in September 2017.
Interview
I was about 15 minutes early. When I arrived I was immediately ushered into my interviewer's office, a few steps from the front door. He asked for a copy of my resume and just went down the list asking me about my experience. Felt like I articulated myself well and asked him strong questions. However, he seemed busy, 2 phone calls rang through while in his office, and didn't have much to ask. I was in and out in about 20 minutes.

Started off with phone interview done by recruiter. Next step was in person interview with 2 people. One of them was very nice while the other was too direct with the daily tasks I would have been doing.

Phone screen by recruiter, in-person by a single manager and then a final interview with 2 other managers. Offer came 2 days after final interview. BEWARE, REMEMBER ANY COMPANY THAT CAN'T KEEP A POSITION FILLED, OR IF THERE IS ALWAYS A VACANCY, THERE IS A REASON FOR IT!!

I applied online. I interviewed at Ryder System (Denver, CO).
Interview
First I interviewed with a recruiter located in Los Angeles. The phone screen was basic questions about the role, my experience and the discussion about relocation. Relocation is a big part of the position as there is a 50/50 chance of relocating after the required 12-24 months training process.
Next, I interviewed with the branch manager at the Denver, CO location. The interview was easy and relaxed. Everything seemed to go well. Unfortunately, after this part of the process, the overall experience became very unprofessional and negative,
After the on site interview, I was requested to touch base with the recruiter once again, which I did. The recruiter proceeded to tell me he would get back to me on certain dates with updates. Every time the recruiter said he would get back to me, he never did. This happened more than 3 times and it took almost 3 weeks to receive a response. In the end, I was declined the position. But after the back and forth and the 3 weeks of waiting, I had bad taste in my mouth about the company before they sent their final response.
Also, the job decline came via a generic email response, not even a phone call. Maybe the company itself is a good company to work for but the recruiter was really good at saying he would do things but very bad at actually doing them.
