I was contacted by the SCAN HR recruiter and we went over my resume on the phone. He was enthusiastic and scheduled a second phone with the manager of the department. I did a phone conversation a week later. The person's demeanor was totally flat. She told me about the department in a monotone voice and seemed disinterested in me. She really didn't ask any questions about my experience other than to note I had a much more varied qualification that the position required. The position was very narrow. Really no analytic or development with SSRS or SSIS. Basically create a report after the requirements and sql (datasets) were already done. The interview lasted less then 15 minutes. I didn't think I'd hear back. But then a week later, the HR recruiter called back and told me that the manager liked me. A third interview was scheduled with someone on her team. A week later I spoke with a male employee for about 10 minutes who seemed surprised to be talking with me. I think I was way overqualified for the position. It seemed they were looking for someone with a beginner's BI experience. After the 3rd interview I didn't hear back. It's been about a month.
