Interview with district recruiter. Fast-paced interview in an office setting, at a table. Very professional interviewer. I applied online and the recruiter called next day and left an email as well. She followed up with an additional email which offered other hiring store locations. I called her and asked about the required availability which said they wanted 4 a.m. to 6 p.m.. I was asked to come in the next day for an interview. Job offer on the spot.

The interview was straightforward and friendly. It began with a short introduction and an overview of the Personal Shopper role. The manager asked about my customer service experience, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and scheduling availability. We also discussed teamwork and how to handle different shopping situations. The entire process felt conversational and welcoming.

Talked about current position as a shopper with another store. Then she asked me what I liked and disliked about the position and why was I interested in Safeway. I have 11 years of previous experience, which made the interview easier for me personally.
