    Pros

If you really want to work you can get a job at Safeway. But you may not get your hours depending which section you like to work in.

    Advice to Management

Bring up min wage to something like $15 to start then the Union Fees make sense

I have been working at Safeway part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexibility, shopping discount, you get back the effort you put in....you can make your own opportunities to learn and grow

    Cons

If not full time, hours worked weekly can fluctuate, if management isn't good-it makes your job harder

    Advice to Management

Promote from within, more f/t positions, be honest with customers about lines (purposeful lack of staffing) so staff doesn't get all their anger, speed up chip card processing and change the music please
