I’ve applied through LinkedIn, they contacted me the next day to arrange the first HR interview with common questions about you and your career, it lasted not more than 25 minutes.
She explained the process and contacted me the next day notifying they were moving forward with me to the Technical Phone Screen stage. After some emails we set the interview and they did a heads up of being a problem solving focused interview about 45 minutes and share some additional resources to be prepared.
2nd interview started with a self-presentation for each side, the interviewer was kind, asked me for my opinion of my experience through the process until that moment and asked for sharing questions. Then started the problem-solving part. It was about an scenario of the labeling process and you had to make some proposals, but I didn’t understand at all the problem, there’s no any visual support and is just talking and talking with terms you don’t even know. I honestly didn’t find the resources highly helpful. I made him some questions during the problem and tried to figure out if I was sharing some expected answers but seems I wasn’t.
I think you should improve this part of the interview and use some visual support to present and make a better understanding in the candidate in order to make him able to provide good answers. Besides, I don’t find fair to ask candidates for very specific question about one of your products, well that it’s just IMO.
They notified the same day they weren’t moving forward with the process.
