The process had three stages. First was a 30-minute intro call with one of the co-founders, who was genuinely interested in my background and how I think about go-to-market strategy — it felt like a real conversation, not a checklist. Second was a deeper dive with the product leader, which I really appreciated. We talked through how marketing and product work together, how they think about positioning, and I got a much clearer sense of what the product actually does and where it's headed. Third was a final conversation with the CEO focused on vision, culture, and what success looks like in the role.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Scoop Analytics in Mar 2024
Interview
It was a bit disorganized but was an overall positive experience interviewing with three different members of the team. After feeling like I nailed the final interview (and the interviewer saying that they’d follow up with next steps), I didn’t hear anything for a couple of weeks. I found this strange considering how quickly the interview process had mover up until that point.
