I had a very disappointing interview experience and worst one yet!
The first round was with the hiring manager (Nicholas), followed by a second round with the team, which went well. I was informed that I would receive an update by the end of that same week. However, after waiting two weeks, I followed up multiple times via email and did not receive any response.
After nearly a month, I called the office directly and was told that the position had already been filled. This was the first time I received this information, and the communication was abrupt and unhelpful.
While I understand hiring decisions change, the lack of follow-up and communication after multiple interview rounds felt unprofessional. I would encourage future candidates to proactively follow up and set clear expectations around timelines.
