Applied and got a swift response the next day from the employer. There was a phone interview that went well and the HR leader was enthused about getting into an in person 2nd interview asap about a week later so I prepared for the interview and studied to the job description. The day arrives for the interview and the moment I walk into the room the first thing that is said by the CFO is "Thanks for taking the time to speak with us about our Financial Analyst role". I immediately inform them there must be a mistake, because this is listed as a BA position and at no point was this ever discussed as anything different. I finished the interview and felt like I did great answering the data and business questions (Because thats what the job was) but lacked on the financial side (because this wasn't what the job was). After the interview I reached out to the HR Leader for clarity and never got a response. Got a generic automated denial response 2 weeks after the final interview. Great facility, don't think they quite have it together there though.
