Shiftsmart Interview Questions

Pretty standard process. Had a recruiter screen with a recruiter. Completed a case interview and presentation with a panel followed by a series of behavioral interviews with executives. Received an offer but the title Behavioral interviews felt transactional and surfaced some red flags - sharky, workaholic culture with no clear idea of the role provided. Reviews and employee tenures on Linkedin surfaced more red flags

Initial phone screen with the recruiter which went well. Explained the role, what the team is looking for, the hiring manager and who they are and general compensation expectations. Hiring Manager interview felt transactional, not conversation. It does not appear the team fully understands how to effectively run a proper recruiting cycle. It was a red flag that led me to back out of further rounds.

Interview conducted in app. Consistent of a 3-5 min. Video, with 5 follow-up questions. Instructions on checking in/out codes, contact info, job descriptions, how to report any problems. Setting up account for payment, or gift card payment.

Untraditional interview process. Lead contact was not an HR individual and was never clear of their exact title. The hiring manager asked for lots of information and did not seem to know what type of candidate they were looking for. The information interview process with the knowledge expert on the company.

It's clear the people function is not being run by a person with actual hr/talent competency. As mentioned in other reviews, the rescheduling is not good for candidate experience coupled with inability to assess real needs within the business makes for an unfortunate waste of time. I would challenge the C-suite to reassess and consider introducing a person with some real hr practice knowledge into the organization.

Yikes. Uh what to say here… a dizzying mix of talented people and major red flags. Similar to other reviews the interview process was simply a mess. A couple internal figures were truly impressive, but were sort of cancelled out by some sharky types that signaled to me culture would be a major issue. Every single person I spoke to had a totally different story for what the role would be responsible for. Everyone broadly pointed to similar success metrics, but only one person could tell me about historic performance.

1st round interview was a culture fit interview and the 2nd round interview was a case study that involved analyzing a data set and coming up with recommendations based on trends identified

I interviewed with Shiftsmart after applying through the company website. After a case study, presentation, and 8 interviews over 2.5 months and positive feedback after each one, I did not receive an offer. The process was convoluted and unclear. I was told that I was not a fit in the team that they had suggested I interview for. I was then told to interview in another team where there may be a role, and was then told I would not be made an offer. The communication was consistently and deliberately hard to understand. The HR team changed the decision date on four separate occasions, and then changed the rules. I now believe there was never a role in the first place.

All's you had to do was sign up and then it texts/emails the next step. It was easy and you get to start working fast as soon as you can.

Same experiences as others here, the interview was scheduled and rescheduled 3x which is totally fine. The demeanor of the interviewer lacked professionalism and I felt they were looking for a bro-type personality to match the company culture. Just overall a poor candidate experience.
