I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shimadzu Scientific Instruments (Columbia, MD)
Interview
HARD... multiple people. There is a phone interview followed by a manager interview followed by an in-house interview with multiple people in a single discipline or multiple disciplines. The questions are all very highly technical used to see where you go (mind process as well as starting knowledge).

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Shimadzu Scientific Instruments (Baltimore, MD) in May 2015
Interview
Interestingly enough, one of the most technical interviews ever. Full 8 hr grilling on electronics, chemistry, UV, chromatography. It a breeze if you know what you are talking about. Rights of passage explained in nebulous terms. Would have been a great job if it did not feel like Westeros.
