I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shomi (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2016
Interview
Initial call was from HR for basic screening. I was then scheduled for an in person interview with the director and a manager (may have been a lead, I forget). The director was not very friendly and seemed very full of himself. Needless to say, I'm glad I dodged this bullet since shomi is closing down soon.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I honestly don't remember at this point, I tuned out when I was told I was wrong after the first question (which is subjective depending on who you ask).
I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Shomi (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2014
Interview
Brief, to the point. The interview was friendly and cordial. We had worked together before, so we had a good base to start from. I had to interview with his superiors as well. But, funny story, after I interviewed with one senior guy, he got fired the next day! I hope it wasn't something I said :-0 On the other hand, I didn't warm up to the guy so it was probably a good move on their part.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Shomi (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2016
Interview
I applied for a PM role, was contacted and asked if I was interested in another role. Later I was told that was filled but that there was another role they'd book an interview with me for. A week later they said that one had been filled internally. Sometime between the first and last contact I had a 30 minute phone interview.
The process was a bit of a mess but that has to be expected with a company at this point. I did receive 5-10 e-mails during this and they were very friendly. I got to learn a bit about the company through the process.
