I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Shreddy in Apr 2025
Interview
I applied for the role of Senior CRM and community executive in early 2025. My first interview was cancelled last minute and rescheduled, which wasn’t an issue, but there was very poor communication from HR on timings for rescheduling. The first interview was fine and very easy, just a list of questions. For the second interview I had to prepare and submit a task building a communications plan for a new project Shreddy was about to launch. We then discussed the project in a final stage interview. Perhaps coincidence, but some of the exact messaging I’d included on my plan was then used in their actual communications on social media. I was also a paying Shreddy customer at the time of interview and they suspiciously removed me from their mailing list without me actioning anything. I’m unsure if this is just because I was unsuccessful or if it was because they didn’t want me to see that they were using messaging I’d suggested in the communications plan I’d provided them.
The interviews themselves were not bad, I wasn’t asked anything too difficult and wasn’t made to feel uncomfortable, but the recruitment process as a whole was handled horrendously. Communication was poor throughout the stages, and then came to a complete stop after my final interview. I understand businesses not having capacity to contact all unsuccessful applicants in the early stages, but this was a final stage interview where there can’t have been many candidates left. I was completely ghosted by the company despite me chasing for an answer.
The way my application was handled makes me extremely grateful that I didn’t end up being offered the job. For a company that claims to empower women, they certainly did not treat me with the level of respect I’d expect. I did not even ask for feedback on my interviews, I only wanted to be told whether or not I had been successful.
Overall it was a terrible interview experience and filled me with a lot of anxiety. By far the worst interview process I have ever been through.

I applied online. I interviewed at Shreddy (London, England) in Dec 2020
Interview
I interviewed at Shreddy over a year ago and remember to this day how awful the experience was. I was told my cast study was the best they had ever seen, yet was treated with so much disrespect it was shocking. I was not further contacted, not even to tell me I didn't get the job- but it was clear to see there was no team communication and a toxic work environment. I see today that over a year later, they still had the job posting on Linkedin, so a huge red flag.
