The supervisor who interviewed me is super nice, the process was chill and fun, had the feeling of talking with old friends. Not boring questions, skills are important but personalities are what they really consider.
- If I say the question, the Hr would recognize me, but don't worry not hard or sharp questions.

The 1st round was an HR phone screen. The questions were fairly standard. The 2nd round was a long interview, with a strange mix of technical and behaviour questions. Both the lead dev and the HR seem quite checked out. They aren't willing to negotiate anything.
- Do you have experience with log mgmt

2 stages: 1st - call with HR : general questions -why Side Fx? , go over your experience, what is the difference btw sales/AR/Income ? 2nd stage: Panel with HR again, Controller, Sr. Accountant mix of behaviour, technical, and situational. Not really much intro, just straight away to the questions, 80% behavourial/situational , 20% technical (ie. tell me 3 basic journal entries, how do you do a fraud analysis?, give me examples of accuracy, completeness, and compliance).

Talked about past experience and tried to ask me about what my future plans are and what I consider a good internship experience as. Two people interviewed me who were both very informative and technical.

Overall positive experience. Got a call from hiring manager at SideFx, who was very nice and mindful of my time. We quickly scheduled a follow-up call, which went really well. Due to timing I had to have a meeting with the hiring manager, and then the hiring manager and the current system administrator. They were very nice, and open about the company, and interview questions about technology were not very hard, however not very good. During the first few interviews, they usually got back to me in one to two days, but after the last interview it took about three emails and four weeks to hear that they hired another person. It would have been nice to hear something sooner even if I was not considered top candidate. I think this would be a great place to work.

The interview process was smooth and easy. We communicated via Skype and they asked a lot of questions about my work and how I used Houdini. The interviewer was extremely nice and didn't throw in any challenging questions. They got back to me on their decision during the same day.
