HR called me and fixed the meeting. she told me that the manager and HR both will be in the interview. However, it was done by just the manager who was going to directly work with me. It was via the circuit.

      Business Development Associate Interview

      Aug 17, 2010
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Piscataway, NJ
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Siemens (Piscataway, NJ) in Mar 2010

      Interview

I scheduled an on-campus interview through my college, Marquette University. The position was originally located in Illinois. However, closer to the interview date, the company sent out an e-mail stating that the position had been moved to Piscataway, NJ and that the job description had been modified. While the location change was not a problem for me, I could see how this was a deal-breaker for many. The 1:1 interview was two parts (a 2:1 and a 1:1), totaling 30 min. Soon into the first part of the interview, I realized the recruiter was looking at the wrong resume, when he confusingly asking about a cross-country bike ride. After awkward laughter, the interview immediately went down hill. When reading the original job description prior to the interview, it gave the impression that it was more marketing strategy-related, not sales. With it clear that I was annoyed and uninterested, the interview ended in a mere 15 minutes.
