Interview went well, was told I would hear back from them but was eventually ghosted. Was pretty disappointing but it made for a good learning experience early on in my career.

Question 1
Typical interview questions, why do you wish to work with us, etc.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at SimplePart (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2020
Interview
Not very professional. It was a 2 step process. The initial phone screen was with 2 people and felt very rushed. The in person interview was supposed to be with 2 people but it was actually the majority of their dev team (approx. 8) in a room asking random questions. After the first 10 minutes I knew I didn't want the job. The team seems very young and were more interested in sounding smart than actually finding out how I would fit in with what they do. The questions and comments the CEO and devs had about some of the things I told them showed me they don't understand how to make good scalable software. They definitely had a condescending tone in the things they were saying which is hilarious considering the application they are developing is using old technology.

Question 1
Tell me something you have worked on that shows me you know what you are talking about?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SimplePart (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
I had a phone interview (possibly two) before completing an online assessment. After that test, they reviewed the results and then invited me into the office for an in-person interview with the team (about 5 people including developers, operations and design).
