Interview
The interview process was similar to many others I've been through in the lifesciences industry, with a phone screening and a series of onsite interviews.
Most of the interviewers were great. The final interviewer, a VP, came in and rudely told me he didn't read my resume and then proceeded to ask me the most basic of HR 101 questions and didn't bother engaging at all.
If your mind was made up already, why did you waste my time and the time of 5 of your limited staff?
I'm in for a total of about 5 hours of my life, and they spent at least 2 FTE/day on their side. Not a good sign of how this place is going to run...
They "went another direction". Wishing them luck either way.
