      Software Development Engineer Interview

      Mar 15, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Bengaluru
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sixt (Bengaluru) in Feb 2021

      Interview

There were multiple rounds assessing particular tech stack basics, coding skills, DS and Design (HLD and LLD). The interview process was smooth and HR for really helpful until the last round. If you don't do well, do not wait for their response. you will never get one. Ping them or call them, no response. we spend enough time for the interview process and we deserve to get the feedback or atleast a follow up email for the interview update.

      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Sixt (Mysore) in Aug 2020

      Interview

There were 2 technical rounds,1 managerial round and last hr round, First round having two questions he is pretty good in technical skills and I was able to solve both of them, Second round, he gave me one question which is of medium level, I give two approaches to the problem he was satisfied with the second approach, The interviewer was very friendly and have a good grasp in technical part so I have to dry run all the cases, Third round, he gave two questions which is of easy level and I solve both the questions for the technical part he doesn't know that much so I have to dry run part two times to make him understand how it's working, At the last round.she is having zero technical knowledge so I was explaining in the layman terms, all was going smoothly until she asked me where do you come from, so I answered Bihar, she searches on Google where is Bihar and gives weird expression to me, At that moment I realized that I might not be selected Even in this 21st-century stereotype people exist, I don't want to go deep into that At last, I want to conclude Just having the certificates doesn't mean you are good at a particular skill Please don't recruit someone yes man recruits someone who technically sounds good.
