    Pros

    Excellent way to implement great ideas. Great people to work with, very knowledgeable. Fun and creative events held consistently.

    Cons

    Due to certain levels of restrictions outside of the US control, IT requests may take longer than usual.

    Pros

    Great, collaborative environment that provides a unique opportunity for professionals to start or further develop their career. At Sixt, I have been exposed to projects far beyond that of my peers from similar backgrounds and have been trusted with responsibilities that are befitting of someone with way more experience. Sixt USA has the combination of a start up approach, mixed with the backing of a massive, successful organization in Germany. Couldn't recommend this company more!

    Cons

    Those who work hard and perform are rewarded quickly. There is tremendous growth opportunity here. This is not the place to coast by.

    Management doesn’t listen doesn’t promote employees rather hire an Outsider then promote within no opportunities for growth stagnant

    Listen to employees everyone isn’t a German machine promote from within give ppl more opportunities

    Pros

    None, no loyalty, changed pay structure over night. They will act as if they care but will turn their back on you in no time. No true leadership from management. I must say that I met some great coworker there that I became friends with.

    Cons

    No weekends off, worked Christmas and New Years. Management not there when support is needed

    Advice to Management

    Hire some leaders

    Pros

    basic Hourly pay, BEnefits technically you don;t experience

    Cons

    Very cool company.. I got hired and everything seemed ok. Promised 18 per hour plus commission. The first negative experience was inside the branch once I started working. The Branch had no heater this in San Francisco during December. The manager just sent me a link to wear "Layers and gloves".
    Then working later I found that really you make commission in the "Summer months.'' The policy is employees cannot have facial piercing basically the manager allows the employees to have piercings while HR says its not ok. Basically favoritism is real like the other poster said. After I found out that there is no commission or even a bonus while you train I started looking at other jobs. ONce they found out I was looking for other jobs they fired me.

    I have been working at Sixt part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The people and culture are the best part about working here. You make life-long friends & connections with the people here. Company events are hosted often (at least once a month) & there’s always food & drinks. Ping pong table & PS4 in break room are great for team-building & de-stressing. Lots of opportunity for growth & gaining knew knowledge/skills. Company likes to promote within so if you are a hard-worker & take initiative, you will likely be considered for promotions. Great place to work if you like to embrace challenge and have a desire to improve the company you work for.

    Cons

    Upper management still needs some work. Lots of favoritism with certain departments and people that can get away with doing something that might otherwise get somebody else fired (like bringing your squawking pet bird into the office). Some department supervisors are apathetic, lazy, and/or straight up unknowledgable. Feels like you have to babysit/micromanage other departments in order for them to complete the requests you send them. No benefits for part time employees. Insurance for full time employees is pretty expensive. Employees aren’t praised/appreciated as much as they should be.

    Advice to Management

    Cut out the favoritism and hold a closer microscope to department supervisors. Find a way to implement better communication between departments. Shift more of a focus on process improvement. Praise employees a little more often.

    Met some good people.

    Cons

    Management is absolutely terrible. Human Resources does not thoroughly investigate situations involving employees. You will get fired, at. The. Drop. Of. A. Dime.

    Throw management in “certain” departments away and start over.

    Compensation (base + commission), decent benefits, growth potential

    Cons

    General sales quotas for the area instead of realistic expectations condusive to each locations demographics. Not enough cars to support the amount of business in the area. Constant conplaints from customers because of lack of cars in whatever car category they've booked and were displeased with what we had to offer as an alternative.

    Advice to Management

    Get the cars people actually want.

    Pros

    Management is awesome, I feel the family/team spirit, the freedom of autonomy with the scheduling is wonderful... I feel like the opportunity for advancement is there and I’m excited about working for this company

    Cons

    My only is con honestly is the current pay rate in comparison to other employees in the same and other positions. However I have been made aware that pay raises are possible with hard work and dedication to the job

    Advice to Management

    Keep everyone accountable for providing the best customer service possible. For example... An email was sent out recently stating that everyone is responsible for and obligated to perform live check ins with each customer, each time. Let’s make sure that when standards are set they are also met and those who fail to meet them shall face consequences. It’s more about making sure that as a company we’re making a good name for our brand than punishing employees, but I definitely feel that this is important
