    I have been working at Sixt full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Overall my experience here at Sixt has been only positive. I have never work in a company where they value and encourage their employees to give feedback and ideas of ways we can make the company better. The environment is very relaxing, even though there is plenty of work that needs to be done. But the best part is that this company actually goes out of their way to take care of their employees. In my opinion those characteristics are what makes an ideal work environment and makes employees want to stay for the long run.

    Cons

    I don't really have anything negative to say about working here. It was an adjustment compared to my last employer but I feel overall it's been the greatest change.

    Advice to Management

    Don't change a thing. My managers are great and very encouraging, it makes me feel valued for the work I am doing and when things go wrong they are always there to have my back.

    Pros

    Great way to learn the corporate latter and procedures. It helps if you are very dedicated to sell, engage with your superiors, and very customer service friendly.

    Cons

    Very high stress over commissions. The pay is good if your sales are high.

    Advice to Management

    Promote the more experienced AND successful RSAs to the higher positions, instead of hiring from outside.

    Pros

    Get to meet a lot of people from different cultures, and also learn people skills. Incentive was really nice too.

    Cons

    Always working in the sun and rain. Ideas given to management seem to bounce off and go no where.

    Listen to your employees and their needs. You can't run a good business if no one is willing to work for you.

    Fun peers to work with
    Okay entry level pay rate
    Challenging work load
    Room for growth

    Cons

    Terrible sense of concern from management to employees
    False sense of complimenting work when they do not actually approve
    No Proper training for entry level employees
    High expectation without proper communication of how to deliver expected work load

    Advice to Management

    Take time to actually explain to employees the clear expectations you have for them. Do not let them continue to think that they are doing well within your team then surprise them with termination.

    Pros

    Good bonuses only if you rip people off and charge them 3 times more than what they have to pay. Bait and switch.

    Cons

    Management and supervisor do not know how to treat the people that is actually making them money. The managers of the fort lauderdale airport location are only there to make you feel afraid that you might loose you position. They do not know how to be professional and do not know equal treatment for their employees, more than 1 agent called out more than 13 times yet they didn't fired them. They only care about what goes in their pocket. It id a bait and switch because they do not have the cars they show online.

    Advice to Management

    Take some time and go back to training and see if you can improve your customer service and how to better treat your employees whom has to put up with your problems created by your actions

    Flexible Scheduling
    Downtime
    Experience
    Co workers
    Paid training in Fort Lauderdale.

    Cons

    They will promote people that have worked there for a month over hard working employees that have proved themselves for over a year.
    Don't work in a downtown branch, airport only or your entire work time with them will amount to nothing.
    Commission at downtown branches is awful even for top performers.

    Advice to Management

    Take a look at your staff and promote those who work hard even if they don't have a degree. They are willing to learn the position.

    Pros

    Free coffee,every month is a luncheon or outing. Everyone has their own desk. Corporate located near the beach.

    Cons

    Turnback manager is a micro manager, even wants to be notified when you take breaks or even leaving to go home. Temps are treated as such,no invites to company outings etc.
