Question 1
How would you deal with a script not working as you might expect on a dataset?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Smith Institute (Oxford, England) in Sep 2025
Interview
Approached by a recruiter. Hour long initial conversation, virtual, with two team members. Then a 2 hour face-to-face interview in Oxford. Given a data engineering exercise/scenario and asked to walk through how I'd approach it, with two team members, then a more general skills/experience conversation with another team member. Generally very friendly, fair, and felt conversational rather than adversarial.
