The hiring process at Solace Health takes an average of 10 days when considering 17 user submitted interviews across all job titles. To compare, the average duration of hiring at similar companies like BlackRock, Inc. is 14 days, Fabricated Software, Inc. is 2 days, and Apple Inc. is 21 days. Candidates applying for Sr. Software Engineer had the quickest hiring process (on average 1 day), whereas Anonymous roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 21 days).
Long drawn out process run by a very junior person in people operations. They make you fly into SF for a final interview where you go through a very scripted, robotic mock interview with the CEO (who knows nothing about technical recruiting) Great process if you like to hire robots, and have no human element. They send a very generic automated rejection email after taking 2 days out of your own time to travel there. Also the business model can easily be replaced with chatgpt. Why use healthcare advocates when you can use AI to help you navigate it? They are aggressively hiring Full Stack Engineers which makes no sense given AI. AVOID
I applied online. I interviewed at Solace Health (Redwood City, CA)
Interview
There are many stages, up to 4-5. Most of the stages are technical, with the second-to-last being a behavioral test and the final being an in-person assessment. Difficult take-home assessment.
Endless rounds of interviews. In-person interview for no reason other than to give yet another technical test. Complete waste of time. These are not serious people. Took months just to realize at the end that we weren't aligned. In-person interviewers were terrible people. I ended the interview and walked out.
