In-person for the first interview + tour (3-5 minutes maybe?) around the lab. Went over the advertised time by a half hour. Could have easily been an online interview, especially since it was the first interview stage - no need for it to be in person until the second interview stage. Average questions (i.e. tell me about yourself, strengths and weaknesses, why would you be a good fit here, questions around testing methodologies), but also a lot of repeated (and thus un-needed) questions. Interview took place in a public area near the entrance to the building and other offices; this was distracting due to the amount of people walking through the building and the complete lack of privacy.
On the plus side, the hiring manager seemed to be knowledgable and talked a little more about the role and company.
