      Senior Technical Writer Interview

      Oct 27, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Seattle, WA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sonos (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2021

      Interview

Initial phone screen only. Recruiter seemed very green and talked a lot; I tried to ask questions but it seemed like she was trying to sell the company and not the position and its role in the company. I was told I’d hear back either way - if moving forward. Never received a response, so I sent a follow-up email about a week later - nothing. I don’t expect a personal email - an automated rejection email will do, but recruiters need to understand it’s sometimes difficult to eek out time (during a workday) to work around a recruiter’s schedule. The least they could do is follow-up with something, anything.
