1. The Initial Screening
Once your resume clears the AI filters, you’ll usually start with a Recruiter Screen.
Duration: 15–30 minutes.
Goal: To verify the basics, salary expectations, notice period, and genuine interest.
Vibe: Casual but critical. If you aren’t enthusiastic here, you won't make it to the "real" interviews.
2. The Technical or Skills Assessment
Depending on your field, you might be asked to prove you can actually do the job before meeting the team.
Coding Challenges: (For devs) Platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank.
Case Studies: (For marketing/consulting) Solving a business problem on the fly.
Work Samples: Providing a portfolio or completing a "take-home" assignment.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Sova Assessment in Sep 2025
Interview
It was a classic behavioural (STAR) interview, and the interviewers were very supportive and friendly. The questions were fair and clear. I had expected a technical interview, so I was less prepared for the behavioural format.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you describe a time when you thought you were failing at something but ultimately succeeded? What helped you turn it around?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Sova Assessment in Nov 2025
Interview
I had applied, then answered some basic questions. I’d then had a group interview with 2 other candidates applying and then a 1-2-1 meeting to discuss my own experiences, I found this particularly good.
