      Creative Frontend Developer Interview

      May 16, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Philadelphia, PA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Splash (Philadelphia, PA) in Mar 2018

      Interview

The interview process itself was great. The team members were upbeat, kind, and provided a fun exercise to gauge my skill level. The hiring manager told my references that she was excited to bring me on board. The team loved my exercise. However, after the interview, I was left hanging for well over 2 months with high hopes of receiving a job offer (rightfully so), yet....nothing. Silence. Was left on the hook. Finally, after three emails from me bugging them for a response, the hiring manager *finally* got back to me and said they "adjusted the requirements for this role" and were moving on from me. Extremely unprofessional process, extremely shady team and company, extreme disregard for talent or skill. Given the way they handled this, I wouldn't want to work there, nor would I recommend their product to anyone I know.
