Applied for role online for the Wu Tsai Neuroscience Institute. Got an email from HR to set-up a phone screening and then met with the hiring manager and institute's director. I took the interview call while I was traveling so wifi was a little spotty, but the hiring manager, who was just recently hired at Wu Tsai was short and impatient. Given it was only a 30 minute call, she cut me short while covering my background and experience in DEI and mental health and I just feel I was not given a fair chance in the interview. Hours later I got the rejection email.
