Team Leader - Desktop Support Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Milwaukee, WI
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at Stefanini (Milwaukee, WI) in March 2017.

    Interview

The process consisted of four steps - phone pre-screen, face-to-face interview with hiring manager, phone panel interview with two people, and a final meet-and-greet with the client. I received positive feedback throughout the entire process (including immediate positive feedback from the client). Just under two weeks after this final meeting, I received an email stating that my credentials apparently weren't good enough - time, energy, and gas simply wasted.

Comparing to the salary they offer you, it is not worth it. They ask you questions and you answer them but I guess they look at you and see if they like you or not. The keep telling you that the customer service is the most important even if you agree and give them examples they just keep mentioning it as if they are telling you we don't think you understand.

    Anonymous Employee
    Accepted Offer
    Neutral Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Stefanini.

    Interview

Interviewing for Helpdesk Technician can vary based on the hiring manger. Some ask scripted questions while others tend toward more behavioral Q&A. You should prepare by bringing several resume copies, dress business professional, and look pleased to be there. Get the interviewer's names and remember them, write things down while they are talking.

Expect some technical questions but do not be afraid to admit you don't know the answer. Instead, try to ask questions and show that you have general problem solving skills.

    Deskside Technician Interview

Anonymous Employee in San Diego, CA
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at Stefanini (San Diego, CA) in June 2016.

    Interview

Contacted via email by Stefanini-employed recruiter (Josh) who found my resume on another job site. After a couple of emails he called and we talked about the position and my background. He setup a day/time to be interviewed via phone by hiring manager (Tim). We talked more about my background/experience and what the position entailed. A couple hours later Josh called again and said they were interested in offering me a position. He had to check on specifics of the compensation package, but he called back the next day with a firm offer, which I accepted. Both Tim and Josh were very pleasant to deal with. This was in mid-June, but the position didn't start until July 11 due to background checks from Stefanini and the client where I would be working. They kept in touch and gave me ample time for onboarding paperwork to be completed prior to starting position. Overall a great experience and look forward to working for Stefanini.

    Systems Solution Technician Interview

    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Stefanini (Augusta, GA) in December 2015.

    Interview

The recruiter called me the day after I applied. He explained how the interviewing and hiring process worked in great detail, and made sure to answer my questions before moving on.
I was contacted by the recruiter first which took a half hour, then a week later did an interview with the immediate supervisor over my position. This took roughly an hour.
It took another week before I was given an offer, and they wanted me to start on a date I wasn't able to. When I pointed this out, the recruiter immediately pushed the start date back to accommodate my leaving the job I was at.
