A recruiter reached out to me to schedule a phone screen. On the day of the phone screen, I did not receive a call. I sent a follow up email 15 minutes after the scheduled time, no response. I was still really interested in the job so I reached out to the job poster via linkedin a couple days later. The original recruiter then called and left a voicemail since I was unable to answer at the time, stating that he had transposed the last two digits of my number (still doesn’t explain why I never received a response to my email.) I called back, no answer. Then the next day I received the standard thanks but no thanks email. Very unprofessional.
