I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Stifel Financial in Oct 2011
Interview
The initial interview was not very technical at all. It was on campus and the interviewer mostly concentrated on my resume. Most important question: Why Banking and Why Stifel? Two weeks later, I went to the superday which was quite typical: 8 two on one interviews with a junior and a senior banker. Same things: Why Stifel, etc. Important to differentiate between Stifel & Middle Market + your typical bulge-brackets (i.e. Culture, lean deal teams). The interviewers were genuine, nice people and it definitely seems like a great place to work.
Good luck
I interviewed with 2 associates and then moved on to a superday with the directors. The associates each conducted their own interview, not together, and the interviews with the directors were also individual interviews

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Stifel Financial (Saint Louis, MO) in May 2025
Interview
First had a phone call with someone from their talent acquisition team, then I had a zoom with a Director on the team about a week later, then a couple weeks following there was a super day on zoom for the final few candidates with the MD's on the team

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Stifel Financial (London, England) in Jan 2025
Interview
First round was a CV screening through a recruiter (Greenwich partners). After the CV got screened, I was invited to an interview with the VP which consisted of standard investment banking technical questions.
