Interview
Two interview rounds with a design test in the middle. First round was HR screening, the last interview was with a panel and included a review of the design test with feedback.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Stinson Communications (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2025
Interview
Was contacted by a recruiter who would provide very little information about the role or the company. Had a 15 minute phone call with rapid-fire questions that gave me very little space to share about how closely my experience aligned with the role. Never heard back.

Interview
It started with a screening call, followed by a PowerPoint design test and a 90-minute assessment covering math, memory, logic, and personality, where none of them were relevant to design. After all that, I received a generic rejection email. At first, I questioned myself whether I just wasn’t qualified, but after reading other reviews here, I know I’m not alone and my instincts were right.
The most frustrating part is that the design work on their site is pretty basic, just stock photos and cliché templates you’ve seen a hundred times. That’s a lot of effort for a role that doesn’t justify such a demanding process.
Unless you’re okay with jumping through unnecessary hoops, I’d recommend saving your time and energy.
