I went through multiple rounds of interviews with Stoke Therapeutics, meeting with several members of the team and investing significant time preparing and engaging thoughtfully at each step. Initially, the process felt promising and respectful, with constructive conversations that gave the impression of mutual interest.
Unfortunately, after the final round, I was met with complete silence for nearly a month. My follow-up emails went unanswered, and no updates were provided until a generic rejection message finally arrived with little to no feedback or acknowledgment of prior outreach.
Ghosting candidates after multiple rounds of interviews is deeply discouraging and reflects poorly on a company’s recruitment culture. Regardless of the outcome, candidates deserve basic communication and respect for their time and effort.
