I was told by the recruiter this would be a straight forward interview due to having several years experience in payments.
This was not the case I was interviewed by the manager and the senior manager who proceeded to ask me around 20-30 questions in regards to payments and my experience. Therefore if you are going for a position in the payments team I would prepare yourself for not only payment related questions technical walk & a lot on the company and why you want the position.
I found the questions pretty intense and if I’m honest a massive off put as I found a lot of the questions asked where not related to the position and very random.
I’ve never experienced a interview like this and do not think it’s necessary or relevant .
