Question 1
1) Phone Call with HR - was asked about my CV and experience and we talked about the company and salary expectation etc - Very chill
2) With Hiring Manager - standard non technical Interview, question about my experience, proudest project I worked on and why, and why I wanted to work at Stripe - it was a very casual chat in the end.
3) With Team Memeber - Leetcode/hackerrank style - question was related to String Manipulation [Easy- Meduim on leetcode/hackerrank ] - Would recommend going through [Easy] String Manipulation question. - The interviewer was very helpful.
It was interview friendly process as it was a recruiter screening. It was a behavioral interview and we were both trying to figure out if the role was a good fit.
I had an HR chat first with general questions like "tell me about yourself". Then had a technical interview with the engineer team. It was a good experience overall. Didn't get an offer.
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Stripe
Interview
It was 5 interviews, including a coding test and a case study presentation. My process took over 8 weeks. Set up was pretty typical with technical, behavioral and cross-team questions. The case study was a presentation and a working demo using their API. The prompt had stated a basic, minimal implementation, but the feedback I got for my rejection was that my implementation was not advanced enough, even though it was functioning per the requirements.
