I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Superdrug (London, England) in Sep 2015
Interview
Applied online. Easy and straightforward application, nothing too hard. They got back into contact in about 2/3 weeks and arranged an interview date which was a week later. The interview was not too bad, general competency based questions were asked e.g. When was there a time you had to work as a team? This took about 30-40 minutes.
After that, I was asked to go and do an activity in the shop floor. She asked me to promote a perfume that's offer was going to end on that day. I had to try my best to talk to customers about the product while the interviewer was observing me. This part of the interview was probably the most awkward part just because of the fact that it was hard to approach customers knowing that you're just being annoying haha but you just had to do it to show the interviewer that you're a good communicator and can deliver.
Overall the process wasn't too bad, there were no trick questions or anything like that. Everything was pretty straightforward.
