Very impersonal. Questions are very clinical based and employers don’t really ask questions about yourself / experience / what you have to offer. The interview only takes 15 minutes and only Zoom usually.

Clinical scenario based questions, most gearing towards how I handle difficult situations and how I communicate. High acuity role requiring icu experience so using that to my favour in this new role. Emphasis on teamwork and independent working and when to reach out for help

Interview
I arrived to the unit and was placed in a small room to wait for the interview. They were running behind schedule, because of a ward round. The interview was held up by 1.5 hours. Another 3 people arrived to be interviewed in that time and we all sat in the tiny room staring at each other. It was awkward! The staff interviewing were friendly, but seemed quite junior. They more or less told me I was going to get the job, but then I wasn't offered a position. Go figure...
