I applied online. I interviewed at Sygna in Dec 2025
Interview
In mid December 2025, Seham Abdulkadir, didn’t ask me for my availability, she just booked me in for an interview with herself and sent me the calendar invite. I declined and replied with my availability, as well as sending several follow ups to try and pencil in a new time but she didn’t respond. I then reached out two members of the department stating my concerns with the experience I received and then I reached out to the recruitment team inbox and finally received a response from Megan Lockhart, saying: Seham was “extremely busy” but she will reach out in the new year to organise a first stage interview. (is anyone really that busy that they can’t reply to one email). New year came around and I reached out to Seham but still had no response, then I followed up with the recruitment department just to receive a rejection email today from Megan. Then I followed up asking for clarification but the excuse from Seham was “the recruitment process shifted quickly”. The apology Seham gave felt disingenuous because I reached out multiple times trying to move quickly but it’s clear emails were seen but ignored. An attempt to organise a new interview wasn’t even made.
Overall, this is a very poor experience and an unfair process. It’s clear the team doesn’t care about candidates and their job search, the lack of empathy is evident. In the future, please treat candidates as you wish to be treated.

Question 1
Interview was not conducted due to a lack of communication from Seham. I was told the interview would be surrounding my background and core parts of the job description.
Easy interview, the ask only for the basics. Not much details on the technical side, main focus how to manage the team and lead the meetings. Sygna interview will be normally two rounds. one with the country manager and one with the senior level managers
