Question 1
Describe a time you persuaded someone and what was the outcome?
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at T. Rowe Price in Dec 2021
Interview
It consisted of three stages: (1) resume&CV screening, (2) first interview with a Senior Investment Analyst, and (3) Superday with 5 interviews + dinner invite at Baltimore. Most of the interview questions were typically ones in the industry, with little more emphasis on behavioral than technical - why T. Rowe, why IM, what if... type of questions + oral stock pitch (not an assignment but you will be asked to talk about one or two of your recommendations during the interviews.) That said there were some unexpected questions that gauge the candidate's knowledge about T. Rowe - what is the stock price right now, how the recent stock performance, what the portfolio returns the firm is generating...etc. In addition, you would also be asked to answer some mental math or reasoning questions. e.g., estimate the price of XXX with some assumptions. What variables would affect the price dynamics etc.
