THE CRAZY STORE interview questions

I would like to formally express my disappointment with the recruitment process I experienced at The Crazy Store for the Senior HR Officer position. After attending an initial interview and not being selected, I accepted the outcome as part of the normal course of job applications. However, I was later contacted and invited to attend a second interview for the same role — only to be informed that this was due to the resignation of the initially appointed candidate, who had left the position within two weeks of starting. While I appreciated being reconsidered, the circumstances under which I was approached raised concerns regarding the integrity and professionalism of the recruitment process. It is disheartening to be treated as a secondary option solely because the original appointment was unsuccessful, rather than being considered based on merit from the outset. Following the second interview, I was once again not selected for the role. The reason provided for this decision — a lack of “energy” — was both vague and subjective. For a senior-level HR position, one would expect decisions to be based on clearly defined competencies, relevant experience, and leadership capabilities. Citing “energy” as a deciding factor, without further context, diminishes the seriousness of the process and calls into question the criteria being used to evaluate candidates. Overall, the experience has been emotionally taxing and professionally disillusioning. I believe that recruitment processes, especially for senior HR roles, should be conducted with transparency, fairness, and respect for all candidates. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect those values. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as a reminder of the importance of upholding professionalism throughout all stages of the hiring process.
