I had quite an unsatisfactory experience during my interviews for a Project Manager role. The procedure was chaotic and overly lengthy.
During the 1st interview , I was informed that I would get feedback in a few weeks — only to be reached out to two and a half months later for a follow-up interview. The day prior to my planned second interview, I was told that management was too occupied and required to postpone it for another 3-4 weeks without any other feedback.
When the second interview finally took place, I was promised it was the last step—only to find out at the conclusion that I required one more interview, which, luckily, was arranged for the next week. I finished the last interview and was assured I would receive feedback by the end of the week or the next. After two weeks without a reply, I decided to follow up. No response.
At last, 1.5 months later, I got a standard rejection email from an HR representative who was not part of the process. There was no individual feedback, no recognition of time and effort-only a general suggestion to join their "talent pool."
