Interviewing with Tabs3 was an overall very smooth experience. The entire process was comprised of several interviews. The first was approximately a 45 minute phone call with an HR representative, which was mainly over past experience and my interest in the role. I had to follow that up by sending my transcript, a list of references, and code samples.
After about a week I was contacted by the programming manager and instructed to take an online technical evaluation through Test Dome. The evaluation was timed (approximately 3 hours) and consisted of 5 questions (3 short answer, 2 coding challenges). The questions were all related to C and C++.
After another week, I heard back from the HR representative who initially interviewed me and was asked to come in for an in person interview. The interview was with the HR representative, the programming manager, and the director of development. The interview consisted of further questions on my background as well as asking me to numerically evaluate (from 1 -5) my hard (coding/technical) and soft (personal, organizational, social) skills. The interview lasted about an hour and a half and concluded with a brief tour of the office. I received an offer a few days after the final interview.
Overall, was a very good interview process/experience and I was always able to get ahold of the initial HR representative throughout the process.
