I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tagup (Boston, MA) in May 2020
Interview
The process started with a phone screen, then a culture-fit interview with the team lead, then a take-home assignment which took about 5 hours to complete, then an interview with the CEO.
I just did my first round of interviews with them and it was an initial screening. The same day I got a request to move onto the next interview stage. It was a great experience and the recruiter I talked to was super nice to talk to.
This was a bit less than a year ago ~ It was via referral, they followed up well, asked good questions. Felt comfortable speaking to internal recruiter/hr as well as engineering team. I didn't get much about why I didn't eventually get it.

Question 1
It was hands on and not leetcode - because it was more of a frontend role, it was react-centric live coding. They care to hear your thinking through which was a green flag to me
