3 interviews. One with HR, one with the regional manager, and one with the director of sales. All three interviews were thorough and extremely professional.
I was concerned by two things that happened during the process:
1) they asked me to provide the salary range that I was looking for but refused to tell me what their range/budget was for the role or elaborate on any of the benefits. Therefore, I had no idea if I was high-balling or low-balling myself.
2) I was promised by all three interviewers that I would hear back from the regional manager by phone by a certain day. That day came and I never heard from them. Instead, four days later, I received a "Dear John" rejection letter from their HR department. When I pushed them for the reason I was being passed over I was never granted the courtesy of a reply.
