      Senior Software Engineer Interview

      Feb 23, 2026
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Taptap Send in Feb 2026

      Interview

Very quick process. Interview stages were quite good and relevant. 1 technical (real world problem), 1 product interview, 1 behavioural interview and a quick chat with the COO. Interviewers are not trying to catch you out.

      Senior Software Engineer Interview

      Mar 26, 2026
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Taptap Send (London, England) in Dec 2025

      Interview

Fairly typical for senior - phone interview w recruiter, interview with future manager, two technical interviews back-to-back. The first was Leetcode-style and was fairly straightforward. The second was a roleplay-style system design interview. I should stress this is not like a FAANG-style interview and was much more modest (and realistic) in scale. This is really important for those trying to prepare! Don't learn how to design YouTube for this - and this isn't the first time I've seen this approach before either. Finally a cultural fit interview with the COO.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

I was asked to design a hypothetical new feature for the mobile app. This was done in a roleplay style where we discussed APIs, how I might work with product, how I might delegate, and various aspects of software development.

      Senior Software Engineer Interview

      Jun 10, 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Taptap Send in Dec 2024

      Interview

One of the best experiences I had. The recruiter and the initial point of contact from the company were really helpful. They guided me the entire process and eased my nerves. They were very open and frank, and encouraged me to be myself, which was the right move.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Asked about professional life, situations leading teams, leading projects, etc. Tech interviews felt like a pairing session (the coding one) and a project workshop session (the system design one). No nonsense. Final round was intense, with hard questions about real work situations, my motivations, and many other aspects.
