Had 1st round of telephonic post which HR asked me to come down for next round. Had 2nd round of technical face to face, and then Skype round with manager. All made it seem I was selected. The manager had even assigned some task to me on which he asked me to revert back by following week. I did the same. After all this there was no response from them for 1 whole week. I had to check with HR only to know that the position was on hold(a very standard excuse in IT). The interview panel actually was pretty sound technically and I had frankly learnt from the experience. But what I would like to suggest is, if you want to grow as a company you need to be more professional, since just like you are putting in time and effort for conducting an interview, the candidate also goes through a lot at the expense of their time and effort.
