      Service and Engagement Lead Interview

      May 28, 2019
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target (New York, NY) in May 2019

      Interview

Applied to Target online and then had a phone call a few days later with the HR-ETL. They told me to tell me about myself and previous experience. We then went into STAR format questions and it ended with me asking a couple questions. A couple days later. I get a call from them again about setting up another interview with the ETL of the department. They tell me more about the role I would be in and also ask a few STAR based questions. I come back with questions of my own. Almost a week passes by then I get another call about setting up another interview with the Store Director. This was informal as they just got to know me closer on a personal level most likely evaluating the fit personality wise. This is interview was relatively short. A few days later another call for my final interview with the District Director. This was a little informal too. They asked about strengths and areas of opportunity and explained the culture at Target. This is interview was also short. 6 days later I get a call about a conditional offer. This process took a little over a month but everyone was nice, upbeat, and professional. While I'm confident in myself I was still a little nervous but them being this way helped calm me down and deliver. I gave myself a week before having to call to check on the status of where I was at but never had to do that as they always got back to me before then. I looked up the interview questions for leads here and they asked most of them except one that was not.
