I applied in-person. I interviewed at Target (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2016
Interview
I cleared the 1st interview which was a good interview experience. The interviewer was a nice person and easy to talk to. Had the second a few minutes later that was my bad experience with an interviewer. She was pretty mean and condescending glad it happened though cause I ended up with a more friendlier atmosphere and nicer bosses at a different company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would you do if a customer asked for the price for an item that has no price tag to it?
easy interview, behavioral questions mainly, taiolered around customer service. Also how you would work a register. It was brief, maybe 10 minutes. But I suppose it depends on the interviewee
In person interview with manager and assistant manager. They each asked a handful of questions about availability and dealing with customers. Follow up was timely but I didn't want the job
I applied online for a seasonal Retail Sales Associate role at Target, completed one in-person interview focused on customer service and availability, and then waited for a hiring decision. I would research the company's values and how you can align with that.
