I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Target (Minneapolis, MN) in Feb 2015
Interview
Interview was actually 3 interviews. 1st was with HR, who asked general questions out of a packet. This interview lasted about 30 minutes.
2nd interview was with the ETL for Asset Protection for the store I interviewed at, this interview also asked general questions out of a packet. This interview lasted about 45 minutes.
The 3rd interview was a phone interview with the District Asset Protection, this also followed the packet type questions, with some general "off packet" questions.
This process took only a week. After the 3 interviews I was transferred to a different location for a "meet and greet", as I was told the position I had applied for was not available but a busier store could take me on. After the meet and greet about a month passed before getting a 2 minute phone call stating I have the job they were just working out the details. Another 2 weeks passed by and I finally have the information.
Average they asked the standard questions that you would expect in a interview. Had to interview with 3 different individuals. Including a manager, director of department
And someone in Human Resources.department.
You have to record some videos answering some questions about your experiences and how they could translate to the position. After that, if approved, a recruiter reaches out to schedule an interview with the hiring manager at the store. Super simple!
