I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tata Consultancy Services (Amravati) in Apr 2024
Interview
Coding Problem: Given an array of integers, return indices of the two numbers such that they add up to a specific target. (e.g., Two Sum)
Data Structures: Explain the difference between stacks and queues. Provide real-life use cases for each.
Algorithm Design: How would you optimize a function to determine if a string is a valid palindrome, considering only alphanumeric characters?
System Design: Design a URL shortening service like Bitly. Discuss database schema, APIs, and scaling considerations.
Behavioral Question: Describe a challenging coding problem you faced, how you approached it, and the outcome.

Interview
There are three interview rounds: a coding round to assess problem-solving skills, a system design round to evaluate architecture knowledge, and a managerial round to discuss experience, communication, and team collaboration abilities.
