Interview
Firstly applied through the Tesco website, received a phone call a week later. Was asked to attend a 2 to 1 interview, similar questions to the online application form along with a few personal questions and ending with job criterion such as availability and location. After accepting the offer there was a group induction for the job that lasted a full working day, which was paid.
Quick and easy interview. Asked how to deal with customers and complaints including how to deal with certain situations e.g. shoplifting and refunds. Interviewer was very polite and to the point.

Application for the role was online. The interview process itself was a generic one, where I was asked a few competency and fit questions by a couple people from HR. This lasted around 30 minutes in total.
My interview experience at Tesco was incredibly positive! From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed and valued. The interviewers were friendly and approachable, immediately putting me at ease. They asked insightful questions about my previous experience and skills, genuinely interested in understanding how I could contribute to their team.
